Ugyen Tenzin is the official photographer and man behind Adventure Planet Travels. He is an aspiring artist in the field of photography and music, besides his full time business career in the tourism industry.
Ugyen had photography instinct from his early schooling days and back home he had the privilege to fiddle his father’s Sony film camera. Later in 2004, when he was a second year degree student at Sherubtse College, he had the opportunity to use digital point and shoot camera of his friend, Mr. Kazu Hero Seki, Japanese IT personnel who was on volunteer service in Bhutan under Japan International NGO, JICA. This Significantly contributed to augment his love for photography.
Then, after graduating in 2005 he ventured on tourism business career and in 2009 he bought his first Fujifilm digital camera from Bangkok. It helped him to explore the photography art along with like-minded buddies at home. He spent ample time in the filed practicing photography.
And in 2011 he bought his first DSLR camera, Canon 7D and seriously began to explore various photography techniques. He never had formal photography training and big thanks to Internet era, which gave him a huge platform to take his photography learning process to a desired height. Virtually, he follows selected numbers of iconic pro photographers from around the world to streamline his photography limitation.
With regard to his photography choice, Ugyen does all kinds of photography. Of all he enjoys landscape and long exposure photography by virtue of its challenging nature. For him such type of photography is an apt reason to push you beyond the limit to attain growth in terms of handling odd situation.
All of his photographs are exclusively used by Adventure Planet Travels for its multiple needs for company’s product development. It includes brochures, website, company blog and so on.
